Running a home is a full-time job.
Most of us already have one.

Minty started with one nurse who saw how much families were carrying alone, and decided to help.

Minty began at the end of a nurse’s shift

For years, Latoya spent her days inside the homes and hospital rooms of people doing their best to be well, checking vitals, managing medications, doing everything her training allowed. And again and again, she noticed what was waiting just outside the chart.

The wound was dressed, but the fridge was empty. The visit went fine, but the prescription sat across town with no one to pick it up. The everyday needs of a home, falling to people who were already carrying more than enough.

Then she’d drive home to four kids, a dinner to make, and a household of her own to run, carrying the question every nurse learns to carry: who helps with everything else? So she built Minty to be the answer she kept wishing she could hand them. A team of kind, vetted local Pros for the meals, the errands, the yard, the rides, all the everyday work that decides whether a home feels heavy or whole.

The way we live changed. How we manage it hasn’t caught up.

There used to be someone home running the household full-time. These days, that’s just not how most homes work. In most, every adult is working. More of us are growing older in the homes we love, on our own terms. People living with different abilities are living more fully and more independently than ever.

But the work of running a home didn’t go anywhere.

The meals still need making, the errands still need running, the yard still needs tending. Help exists for all kinds of specific needs, and yet the everyday work of keeping a home running still falls to whoever has the least time to give it. It piles up late at night, on the weekends, in the hours that were meant for rest.

The work of the home didn’t get smaller. The people carrying it just got busier.

A home doesn't ask for attention once. It asks for it every day. That's why having a little help isn't a luxury. It's what keeps life moving without asking one person to carry it all.

Every home has a heart.

A home runs on more than love. It runs on logistics. The meals planned and the groceries timed, the appointments tracked, the repairs booked, the constant judgment of what gets handled today and what waits.

In most homes, one person carries the bulk of that invisible work. The one who remembers, who plans, who keeps everything moving. The heart of the home. It is the most important work there is, and most of it goes unseen.

That work didn’t shrink when our lives filled up. It got absorbed by people already running on empty. In two-thirds of two-parent homes, both parents work, and the two hours a day a household still demands moved to the only time left: late at night, the weekends, the margins. The person holding a home together shouldn’t have to hold it alone. They say it takes a village. Minty makes sure you have one: a circle of kind, trusted local Pros who learn your home, show up for it, and over time start to feel less like help and more like family.

You are the heart of your home. We’re the team behind it.
